Description

The Bradshaw Care Home Bed is a highly versatile, clinically compliant bed designed to support effective resident care, safety, and comfort within care home and healthcare environments. Offering multiple bed profiles and positioning functions, it supports a wide range of nursing and therapeutic needs including auto contour, foot down tilt (Reverse Trendelenburg), and cardiac chair positioning.

An auto-regressing backrest increases pelvic space as the backrest rises, helping to reduce pressure and shear. Each bed is supplied as standard with an intuitive 9-button handset, which is lightweight, easy to use, and can be lockable to protect vulnerable residents. An optional 10-button handset enables Trendelenburg positioning (up to 11°) where clinically prescribed.

The Bradshaw Low model features an exceptionally low platform height of just 19.2cm, significantly reducing the risk of injury from falls while also supporting safer independent transfers for suitable residents.

A wide range of optional side rails is available, including wooden or metal designs, extended and height-adjusted rails, all featuring a two-action release mechanism to minimise accidental operation. Integral safety locking ensures rails can be locked down when their use is not clinically appropriate.

Designed with both care and aesthetics in mind, the Bradshaw bed offers a domestic-style appearance with five wood finish options (standard Light Oak) and optional leatherette padded head and footboard inserts in six classic colours. Additional features include battery back-up, bed extension, manual calf lift, and a wide range of interchangeable accessories.

The bed is easy to manoeuvre with 7.5cm braked castors and can be disassembled and stored on transport stands for compact, safe storage when not in use.
